Role Description

Rapid Recovery Center (RRC) is whole new approach to post-acute care — one that puts the focus on the individual person and helping them heal as effectively, comfortably, and fast as possible. As the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), you would manage clinical oversight for your Rapid Recovery Center, a position that puts you at the spearhead of this new approach.


The Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO)/Clinical Educator is responsible for clinical onboarding and training within the Rapid Recovery Center (RRC). As the ACNO/Clinical Educator, the chosen individual will serve as mentor to RRC team members in the delivery of clinical training and regulatory compliance modules ensuring a supportive relationship in promotion of the team members’ professional development. The ACNO/Clinical Educator will manage continuing educational requirements specific to the team members’ roles. This role will openly accept responsibility for ensuring timely administration and/or compliance with immunization regulations, governed by those requirements as specified by individual state health departments. The role will also act as the Infection Preventionist, maintaining a sustainable environment conducive to an immunocompromised patient with strict Infection Control Standards promoted throughout the RRC culture. Additional responsibilities will include the supervision and management of disease programs. The individual placed in this role will emulate Mainstreet’s exceptional standard of high quality care delivery in all of his or her actions and interactions with others. The ACNO assists the CNO in the design, implementation and evaluation of nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care.



What we’re looking for


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required
  • Current Unrestricted Nursing license

  • Current BLS and ACLS Certifications (those without ACLS will be considered but must demonstrate successful completion within 3 months of hire)
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of acute care experience
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of post-acute care experience
  • Experience related to clinical education delivery
  • Experience with federal, state and local rules/regulations, Joint Commission, and Regulatory Compliance
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications consisting of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to develop and present curriculum
  • Effective written, and oral communication skills
  • Must possess effective leadership skills, demonstrating qualities that exemplify integrity, humility, and empathy; Must strive to inspire others and always lead by example
