Role Description

Rapid Recovery Center (RRC) is dedicated to providing effective care with a personal touch in an exceptional environment. As the Facility Maintenance, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the environment is always exceptional.

Every RRC facility is designed to be a gorgeous building built to provide comfortable recovery care. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving that building, including equipment, common areas, building services and more. Whether it’s preventative maintenance, improvements or other maintenance requests, you’ll have a direct hand in creating a positive environment for patients.

At Rapid Recovery Center, we’re changing the way the recovery care is delivered, and as an RRC Facility Maintenance, you’ll be working to truly make a difference how our patients recover, and in their lives.


Overall Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds to maintain proper care of the RRC in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards/regulations and company policies
  • Direct the maintenance of housekeeping, laundry and other equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections of life safety systems, including fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems
  • Ensure the outside of the property is maintained, including landscaping, snow removal, and garbage/trash removal
  • Assist with purchasing products via central supply
  • Manage OSHA related training, run safety committee meetings and maintain all building related records
  • Lead emergency, fire, and disaster drills as well as other in-service training as regulated. Must be able to safely ascend and descend stairwells and assist in an evacuation
  • Implement and lead fire safety and center evacuations and drills as required

What we’re looking for

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Three years’ experience in maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication skills with a hospitality mindset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
