Role Description

Rapid Recovery Center (RRC) is whole new approach to post-acute care — one that puts the focus on the individual person and helping them heal as effectively, comfortably, and fast as possible. As the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), you would manage clinical oversight for your Rapid Recovery Center, a position that puts you at the spearhead of this new approach.

The CNO will create best practices, provide oversight of those practices, and establish quality measurement tools, all with the goal of ensuring high quality care and optimal outcomes. Working within the framework of objectives, policies, and goals established for RRC by Mainstreet Health, you’ll oversee, plan, and coordinate all nursing services. You’ll also be a key member of the RRC’s management team, contributing to planning, resource management, fiscal management, and decision making.

The CNO is a vital position in any RRC, and directly responsible for the effectiveness of the RRC Patient model. We’re looking for passionate and experienced people who are excited about leading an innovative and disruptive approach to health care.

What we’re looking for

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred
  • Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in good standing in all states where Mainstreet Health properties are located
  • At least 5 years’ management experience in a Long Term Care or transitional care setting
  • Experience opening new properties is preferred
  • Experience implementing policies and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentational communication skills

Our Mission: Transform Lives

Mainstreet Health is a division of Mainstreet, the nation’s premier developer of transitional care properties. Mainstreet properties have won the Senior Housing News’ Architecture & Design Award in the skilled nursing category in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Mainstreet Health uses a disruptive care model that’s based around building an incredible health care environment and providing care that focuses on the patient as a person. When you work with Mainstreet Health, you’re a part of something innovative, something different, and something that’s making a difference in this world — all while being in a place where you love to work.
