Rapid Recovery Center is dedicated to providing effective care in an exceptional environment with a personal approach. Therapy is a key part of that approach, and as the physical therapist you’ll have a direct hand in that care delivery.

Working as part of our therapy team, you’ll be responsible for providing rehabilitation services within the physical therapy scope. You’ll also be responsible to diagnosis and treatment of any physical issues. You’ll be working directly with the patients, and play a key role in ensuring that they have a positive experience.

Rapid Recovery Center is changing the approach to post-acute care, and our on-site therapy team is an essential part of that change. As an RRC physical therapist, you’ll be part of that transformative change, and make a profound difference in the lives of our patients.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Meet patient within 48 hours of check-in to begin assessment for therapy needs
• Administer and interpret tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency
• In collaboration with the patient and treatment team, establish a plan of care to meet goals for checkout
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in the care and use of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, splints, braces and prosthetics
• Perform wound care treatments as ordered
• Document all interventions and treatments in the electronic medical record
• In collaboration with the treatment team and patient, modify the therapy plan as appropriate and establish the rehabilitation schedule to accommodate the patient’s expressed needs

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent)
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy as required by state law
• At least two years of professional work experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred
• Strong communication skills and must be a team player
