Role Description

Rapid Recovery Center (RRC) is a whole new approach to caring for patients, and as the Admissions Director, you’ll be right at the front of this health care transformation — the first person a patient works with at Rapid Recovery Center.

The core of this position is building relationships in the local community, including with patients, their families, physicians, surgeons, and hospitals. By identifying, developing, and maintaining these relationships, you spread the RRC brand into the community to help bring in patients. Part admissions, part marketing, part customer service, you’ll be a key part of the facility team, working directly with the care team, transitions staff, and all referring care providers.

Rapid Recovery Center is dedicated to providing effective care with comfort and dignity. As the Admissions Director, you can be proud of the difference you’re making in the lives of our patients.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Complete all admission paperwork prior to admission in a timely manner
  • Attend conferences, open houses, community affairs, and other networking events that have opportunities to provide education and market programs
  • Initiate, build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Prepare weekly admission reports
  • Provide clients (prospective patients, their families, and referral sources) with center and program specific information via community outreach and networking, tours, personal visits, and assessments, presentations and follow up
  • Lead the admissions process and ensures appropriate placement and coordinate admission documentation
  • Communicate the needs and service satisfaction levels within the community and alert the leadership team of new or changing demands

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in admissions/marketing in a healthcare environment
  • Experience establishing strong community relationships
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with a hospitality mindset
  • Proficient with computers and documentation
  • Able to use automated processes
