  • Role Description

    Rapid Recovery Center (RRC) is built around a patient-first model that’s dedicated to treating that patient as a person. As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be at the heart of this treatment approach responsible for providing care to Patients with the dedicated personal touch.

     

    And you won’t be alone. A key part of RRC is our team-based structure, including a full team of nurses, a full-time physician, on-site therapy staff, and guest service team. You’ll all work together to help your Patients heal as quickly, comfortably, and effectively as possible.

     

    You will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of high quality care that meets the standards set by physician orders, approved policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local guidelines. You’ll be working hands-on with the Patients with direct care responsibilities.

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Adhere to Mainstreet’s Mission, Vision, and Culture Map
    • Sign in to HealthMEDX (EMR) at the beginning of shift to obtain required tasks for patients needs
    • Abide by all policy and procedures that pertain to the role
    • Abide by all necessary competency requirements for employment
    • Follow patient assignment schedule as made out by the nursing supervisor
    • Deliver personalized nursing care that meets or exceeds the health needs of each patient
    • Gather health information and perform focused assessment on patients to determine health status
    • Promptly communicate significant changes in behavior and condition to the supervising nurse
    • Participate in the care planning process
    • Communicate with physicians regarding changes in condition and test results
    • Communicate new physician orders to the patient
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    WORK CONDITIONS: As assigned; including some weekends, evenings and holidays.

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations

     

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Position Status:  Non - Exempt

    What we’re looking for

    • Valid RN state licensure
    • Graduate of an RN Nursing Program from an accredited college
    • Current CPR certification
    • Minimum of one(1) year of nursing experience in a high volume, fast paced patient care setting or succuessful completion of Rapid Recovery Center (RRC) Graduate Nursing Program.
    • Excellent communication skills with a hospitality mindset
    • Proficient with computers and documentation and ability to use automated processes
