  • Role Description

    The strength of the Rapid Recovery Center (RRC) model is how well it partners with the care Patients receive at hospitals and other care facilities. It’s the responsibility of the Director of Business Development to create those partnerships and build the presence of a specific RRC.

     

    Rapid Recovery Centers are unique in the health care industry, designed from the ground up to be an innovative, disruptive, and industry-changing approach — one which health care providers need to provide modern care. As Director of Business Development, you’ll create a strategy to connect to local hospital networks, physicians, and surgery centers, then execute that strategy and build those connections.

     

    You’ll also manage the Admissions Director and Clinical Transition Liaison, giving you a pivotal role over how the RRC connects to health care providers. It’s a hands-on role where you are directly responsible for transforming the local health care industry, and we’re looking for someone who can be passionate about causing that transformation. 

    • Evaluate opportunity to offer additional services and programs to the community that add strategic value to the organization and help it achieve its business goals
    • Responsible for developing new and nurturing existing relationships with all stakeholders
    • Identify trend-setter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications and by evaluating customer insights, market conditions, competitor data and implements plan changes as needed
    • Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities, especially from a business to business perspective
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in and networking within professional organizations.
    • Up to 50% travel to hospital networks, physicians, and surgery centers to build community relations with the RRC accommodations.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
    • Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Exempt

    What we’re looking for

    • At least five years of experience in sales or marketing within the local hospital and medical community.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Must possess proven track record of sales within healthcare
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Familiarity with value-based payment models –their objectives, and strategies
    • Excellent relationship building skills
    • Proficient with computers and ability to use automated processes
    • Valid Drivers license
    • Proof of auto insurance
