You’ll be an essential part of this experience, whether taking orders and serving in the dining rooms or delivering meals directly to the patient suites.

    Bridgemoor Transitional Care is transforming how people recover from major medical conditions, bring comfort and dignity back to healing. As an RRC culinary ambassador, you’ll play a key role in making a difference for our patients so they can get back to their lives.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Go to the suite of any patient who may request, or appear to need, personal assistance in ordering meals or snacks
    • Take orders from patients in dining room or patient suite and explain/describe various menu choices
    • Communicate orders to dietary staff, or enter into dietary point-of-service system within specified time frames
    • Ensure tray staging meets dietary department standard
    • Answer the dietary phones according to time guidelines, using approved scripting
    • Take patient orders, checking requests against patient dietary needs from the electronic medical record
    • Accurately enter orders into the point-of-service automated dietary ordering system
    • Communicate any findings or conversations to appropriate clinical staff
    • Deliver food trays in suites, following guidelines for staging, patient interactions and timeliness
    • Bus trays and clean tables

    What we’re looking for

    • High school diploma or GED preferred
    • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or related industry
    • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
    • Excellent communication skills with a hospitality mindset
    • Strong team player
    • Successful completion of accredited Food Handler’s Training Course within sixty (60 days) of employment
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
